Reverse Nachos

One of the easiest things you can do to help yourself get in shape is to start slow. If you’re coming off a physically demanding job, it may be too much to go running right away. Start with something low-impact, like walking or cycling, and work up to more intense activities like running or weightlifting.

Be Mindful of how much Time You Spend doing these Activities

Are you watching a lot of TV? Do you spend more than two hours in front of the computer every day? If so, try to cut back on these activities to save time for other things. You’ll still be able to enjoy your favorite TV show or video game without spending as much time doing it.

And by cutting back on the amount of time spent in front of the computer, you’ll have more time for other tasks like exercising and cooking healthy meals.

Eat Small Snacks throughout the Day

Eating small snacks throughout the day can keep hunger at bay and prevent overeating at mealtime. If you get hungry between meals, try snacking on items such as fruit, vegetables, low-fat dairy products, nuts, or 100-calorie snack packs.
